| Description: | 108 new performances for Christophes Himalaya (v2) synth.
Sounds suitable for gentle styles: Ambinet, world downtempo, folktronica, etc. No dance sounds here.
A short description of some sound categories:
DECAY - sounds with fast decay envelope . Good for chords.
GROOVE - (mostly) uniform rhythm using the multiple LFOs.
KEYS - similar to DECAY but in (my mind) made for playing like a piano.
Looptronix - unpredictable looping/rhythmic sounds using the LFOs and delay.
PLUCK - as in an acoustic pluck. Real, hybrid and synthetic. Good for melodies. Some have a sustaining tone at low velocity levels.
There are also the usual suspects not requiring an explanation: Pads, basses, Fx, etc.
I was going to produce loads of plucked-type sounds with this synth, but it took me in surprising directions ! An mp3 demo posted in the forum.
